Good luck! I've been looking for months.

Company in South Africa that used to make them is defunct.

Any machinists around?

You can check out Bowen. Nice rear sights, but they come at a price. Yesterday, I was looking at putting a globe front sight for my contender on a sbh. My globes were purchased from RPM. The mount sits on the barrel fine and looks to be close to the contour of a contender barrel. I just need a mounting screw.

The Bowen sight is pretty nice, but he no longer makes a narrow notch, target style sight. I bought one from him back in 2008, and he told me that it was the last one he had ! Maybe he has started making them again !

I bought a Bowen for my last RSBH and it had the wider notch. I called to ask about getting it with a narrow notch but Hamilton no longer offers that option. Went with the wide notch and just had to watch out for windage. Great sight but could be better with the narrow notch.

Thanks for this info. I took a look at the Bowen website and looks like a quality sight. The width of .125" is a bit large which gives me some reservation about purchasing. The sight on my XL pistol is .100" and works quite well for these aging eyes. If a real set of Bomar sights turned up I would definitely go that route. Sad part about this, I sold a set a few years ago thinking I wouldn't ever need them again. Lesson learned again! So....just might go with Peep/Peep sights. The trick is to get things together legally and not resemble an erector set.

Thanks again for all the input.

Jerry,
I just checked with a guy here is WA and he still has his Bomar .100 rear and front Globe setup for a SBH. Last price he had was $175. Send me a email and I can give him your contact info.
