Ed Shilen passed

I read on accurate shooter the passing of Ed Shilen. I read also if memory serves me that a smith last name of Dever built 25 pistols using the Shilen BPS action and I was wondering if Ed himself shot silhouette. Any one remember ? I have a pistol with a Shilen BPS action . Someone told me it was his pistol.
