We had beautiful weather for the match today but only had 3 shooters on hand when we called the first guns to the line. My brother Philip and I began shooting side by side to get things going: He with his scoped Ruger Charger in UAS and I with my iron-sighted Anschutz Exemplar on the Smallbore targets. We both cleared all the rails posting a 40X40 each. I waited one relay and then began again with my Anschutz on the Fifth Scale targets. I somehow managed 36X40 for a personal best score on the small targets and my second leg into AAA class. We were then joined by David Heintz and Ginny & Richard West. Ginny wasted little time and pushed her Anschutz to a 40X40 in UAS. The shoot-off in UAS-INT between Ginny and Philip followed. When the dust cleared, Ginny stood victorious. I must also thank Robert Stevens for his contributions to Ascension Silhouette. He is always the first to arrive and the last to leave, helping us with setup and take down. Bob, you can be sure you are greatly appreciated. Thanks to all who made the long drive to be with us today.
