Dean Phillips passed March 1st in Macon Ga. You can read the obituary by searching G Dean Phillips Georgia. There is a nice one by Dignity Memorial
and another at Legacy.com . Dean served in the U S Army and was a founding member of the Fort Valley (Ga) Gun Club.
Those who shot there may remember his sisters ''Bitsy'' and Virginia, also brother in law Billy Dorn.
At Oak Ridge TN, you may remember the range had no commercial power so we had to use generators. One year the Gen quit running. Without being prompted, Dean got up and tended to the failure. The addition of several quarts of engine oil cured the problem and we went back to shooting.
From one of the obits, Bitsy (Margaret) passed late last December. They are missed. rp
