You IHMSA old heads remember Vern Juenke at the Accuracy Den in Reno Nevada. FWIW he passed last September. He built custom TCs and chambered them for such things as 270 and 300 VJR (Vern Juenke Rimmed) I ended up with a 300 VJR in the 90s.

Very sad to hear we have lost another pioneer of our sport. He was well known for building accurate TCs.
May he rest in peace.

He also "accurized" Contenders - machined the frame to accept locking bolts with a different angle, also installed a press-fit pin. I owned a Super 14 in 30 Herrett that was accurized by Juenke. It was definitely a shooter !!
