I've just started Big Bore this year and I picked up a TC Contender in 357 mag. I'd like to get suggestions on 180 or 200 gr cast bullets. I've searched around the net and found several companies that offer these bullets, i.e. Missouri Bullet, Penn, Oregon Trail, Magnus. Suggestions, experience, etc is appreciated.

I always had good luck with Leadhead bullets.

If you decide to start casting your own, the RCBS mold for the .35 Remington can't be beat. I've used it for about 25 years in .357 mag and in .357 SuperMag. It drops from my mold at 209 grains when cast from wheel weights. It is a gas check design.

Thanks for the suggestions. I've decided on the 200 gr from Magnus. If my Contender will shoot it accurately, I think that will be the E ticket

Lead head for sure. They have 2 200 grain .358 bullets.
