Ive just tried some of this powder in my 357 mag T/C . 4.5 grains seemed to group good under a Lyman 150 swc. One dislike is easy double charges . Has anyone else tried this .

I tried some in .38, .357 and 9mm. I got serviceable loads, but was not able to match the accuracy in .38 and .357 that I got with HP 38 or HS-6. It was a good powder for 9mm, as accuracy is a relative term for my application in that round, couldn't tell the difference vs HP38. One thing I did not like, was the recoil felt "sharper" than with the HP38 or HS-6 and brass came out "burnt" looking. I fired above loads in a Taurus M66 6", 2" snubby, and the 9mms were a Walther P-1, FNS9mm, FM90 Argentine contract Hi-Power.

I was running it below max with a 158 Hornady SWCHP in .38 and .357 as well as a 125 hard cast TC running near Hodgedon max loads for .38SPL. I think I may keep it in inventory for the wife's .357 snubby carry gun as muzzle flash was reduced vs the other 2 Hodgedon powders, and as above it made a good 9mm load with 124 cast. Very snappy and reliable cycling with minimal flash and fouling in this application. I'm sticking with HP-38 for field pistol .38s and HS-6 ".357 light" for the 100m targets.

Thanks , the HS-6 burn speed is where I need to be . Titegroup was doing good out to 50 under a Lyman 358477 semi WC . I've tried everything and I dont think that T/C like the semi WC at all . The best it shot was over top of 12.2 gr of AA 9 and I dont think you need all that . One bullet that barrel flat out shoots is a NOE 360 180 WFN with a GC . Since it likes that bullet design, I signed up for a group buy of the same shape but in a 158 plain base . I'll try some Titegroup under that and see if any luck , if not my little 9 will have lots of fuel .

Since I have a bunch of it (8 lbs.) that I bought for .45 ACP, I thought I would try it in .357 for FP.
158 Hornady XTP, 5.6 grs of Titegroup shoots really well in a 10 inch TC barrel, light recoil. I like it!
