new Dan Wessons
Has anyone shot one of the Dan Wesson 715 revolvers manufactured since CZ started production back up?

I have a friend that purchased one. I have not seen it, but he says that it shoots well.

Re: new Dan Wessons
I won a gunbroker auction and picked up a like new Dan Wesson 715 with a 6" barrel. I took it to BassPro last week and 25 yard 1 1/2ingroups with a Leupold 4x off of a shakey rest were pretty easy. I got away to shoot at my nephew's farm and stretched the range to 115 yards. Shooting Creedmore, I was able to get a 4" group with the other two groups in the sub 6" range. This is with a 162gr swc with gas checks with a midranged load with 2400. I will be buying a 10" barrel around Christmas time.

Re: new Dan Wessons
The fit and finish were pretty nice. My one complaint would be the trigger weight which I would charitably call a "Hunting" weight trigger. It felt like it broke at about 4lbs in single action. With that said, there was very little creep or over travel.
