Hate to do this, but with other threads in progress, it's time to call out the Board and ask what rules are being considered. Specifically, to Allen, Brian, and other Region directors and well as IHMSA officers, what rules have been submitted? And to all Region directors that don't know the answer, you need to call the officers and find out if anything has been submitted. There are no gray areas, either a change has been submitted or it hasn't.
So, what's the answer? Have rules been submitted? Please state publicly.
Thanks,
Respectfully,
Rich Hawkins

Re: New rule submissions for 2018
Years and years ago I suggested that all IHMSA committees should be reporting what they are doing in each issue of the newspaper. If that had been adopted all the members would have had some insight to this proposed rule and any others that are in progress. Why must this organization be so secretive and only exclusive members get special treatment. Sad that we cannot be an open organization and equal for all. I too would like to know what other issues/rule changes are being considered.

The buzzword de jour is "transparency".260 Striker wrote:Years and years ago I suggested that all IHMSA committees should be reporting what they are doing in each issue of the newspaper. I talked to John Richards today. As far as he knows there are no rule submissions proposed as of right now. Allen

Thanks Allen. The deadline for submissions has passed, so that should be that. Other regional directors should weigh in, they all have a dog in the fight.

None that I know of. I've been gone for 9 days though.
