I have been hanging around this forum looking for answers to questions, I have shooting in the IHMSA, I'm not new to the sport as I use to shoot competitions at the Los Angeles Silhouette Club years ago, but this was previously to me being confined to a wheelchair (Power Chair). I did call the NRA and talked with the lady was in charge of disaability people who want to shoot, but she was in charge of the Air Gun Competitions, but she is sending me all the paperwork to register being disabled in a wheel chair. This is no biggie as this will be my third time different organization.
I spent 15 years in the Army drafted in 1968 and was relwased Honorably Discharge under disability. Went to work for the DoD for 15 more years before they retired me undier permanent disability and really have not competed since 1995. Now that I have recooperated and accepted the idea of being in a wheel chair, in fact I am having an Encore Pistol .308 ported 15" barrel with a Burris 3x12 Ballistic Plex scoped being built by Bullberry. I do plan on hunting with this same firearm, mostly deer and Elk.
Once I hear from the NRA I should know which category of Unlimited but as what? Wheel chair disabled
I like this forum and plan on learning from the best who are here
