Hello all. I'm hoping that some one can help me. Back in the 80's when I started to shoot IHMSA I bought a Contender and a 357mag Hot Shot bbl. This was the only set-up my local shop had, and as impatient as I am, I bought it. I took the rib sight off and had a scope mount installed. Now I would like to return it back to a shot bbl and can't find the front sight elevation screw. This screw does not screw into the bbl, but butts against it and the front sight has threads on the front to rise and lower the sight. Does anyone by chance know the size or dimensions of the screw, or one can be obtained? Both my sons are in the tool and die trade and maybe one can make one ( ya right) if I can't find one.
Thanks for any help

I am a little confused as All the Hot shot barrels I have seen have soldered on front sights. I think you mean the elevation screw for the Rear sight.

If anybody will have parts for a TC, It will be James Henry in Barstow, CA. his phone number is (760) 253-4497

this particular barrel has an elevated rib similar to a shotgun. the rear sight is a flip up blade that can be adjusted for windage. the front sight blade is adjustable for elevation. If I can figure out how to post a picture, I will post one.
