We always enjoy our shooters from Alabama coming to shoot with us. It takes a big commitment to drive that far to shoot a local match, and we appreciate the support.
I want to propose a new name for ole95. I say we call him Skippy, because he seems to skip some targets, shooting an animal out of turn!!
Great shooting with that 40 with cast bullets, ole95! Also great shooting by bruce barret, shooting a 40 UAS, with 3x5 shoot-offs, with an XP 6.5 Grendel he built himself! I believe this now moves him up to Int. class. But then, Stuart, his son, had to one up him by shooting a 40 with 5x5 shoot-offs. These young whipper snappers have no respect for their elders!
My amigo posted and excellent 31 Standing score, with 8x10 Turkeys!!!
A very hot day, but we enjoyed hosting the match. Next time, I will bring more water and gatorade!!!
Melvin

We always enjoy shooting at LR. Melvin, Robert, Ken and the target setters really do a fine job hosting a match. It is real good to see Richard Pickering, Ron Dixon and the rest of the gang at the firing line. Sherry Dixon was missed and hope her a speedy recover and may the next surgery go better and faster then this one will.

Our missed Dave Chaney may have created a new Big Bore monster by supplying Kdiver58 with his .25BR XP-100! Kdiver's first BB match yielded 30 critters, which could have been two better except for spotter SNAFU on chickens. Never mind he had no sight settings past 100yds but for a couple of 200yd shots (which led to some low misses at 200 meters the next day). And only his second day ever in creedmoor position. Thinking he might call it "painmore" position, judging by various grimaces and one contortion during the match!

So, since our usual "Johnny on the Spot" prompt photo guy, "the Other Robert" was feeling under the weather, here's some from my old camera:

It looks like the camera managed to catch the Chicken just coming off the rail.

9 Turkeys! And never a round at 150m or yards before this day.
I credit the tote...
More later.
