Big Bore returns to Louisiana !

Thanks to "Mr. Louisiana IHMSA" Charlie Braud and a group of NRA Cowboy Lever Action Silhouette shooters we again have Big Bore in Louisiana. Top Shot Shooting Facility in Quitman, Louisiana held their 1st IHMSA sanctioned Big Bore match today. The weather forecast was bleak - and the weather man was sadly correct. It started raining while I was painting targets, and rained throughout the match. Charlie let me have the honor of firing the 1st entry, and I lucked into a UAS 40x40 with my XP 300/221. We had only 3 IHMSA shooters, and due to the conditions we only fired a single entry apiece. Charlie shot a fine 38x40 in UASHS, and Will Kirste hit 40x40, but lost a hit ram with his XP 221FB and 80 gr. Bergers. Will keep you posted when the 2016 schedule is finalized. Thanks Top Shot and BIG THANKS to Charlie Braud !
