Need a map with dots

I think it would be nice if someone with more computer skills than me would create a map of the U.S. and possibly our Canadian friends that had dots to show the location of active IHMSA ranges. I read many reports from other ranges but don't really have an idea of where they are located without pulling out my out of date Rand McNally maps. A really high tech map would have the ability to display the range name if the mouse was hovered over a dot. Is this too high tech to be created? I know I can't do it and got a headache just thinking up the idea.

My brother Charlie Braud has mapped the GPS coordinates of every active IHMSA range. I am sure he could help you with this, but he is at his place in North Louisiana, and does not have internet up there. I will try to call him to see what he says.

I like 260 don't have the ability to do this. But, it would be another tool in letting people know where we shoot. I have talked people who didn't know about us that only lived down the road.

Even if the "dot" didn't display a range name, a map with dots would be great to post on the IHMSA main page so potential new shooters could at least get an idea of where ranges were located. Like sit mentioned, some people may live near a range and not even realize it. It might spark their curiosity enough to show up if a range is nearby.

Maybe put a asteric by the ranges that don't won't or don't encourage
Outsiders to come to their match . Been there done that ! I've wasted a lot of time and money planning a trip
To have the match canceled the day before I leave ,nobody there When I get there or just stop replying
To my e-mails after I tell them I'm coming.
This is a great Ideal I try to shoot at one new range /state every year and this would help
Just Saying travelers beware

Wow, almost perfect. I did notice some of the clouds(?) were a little off (in OH) but very close to actual locations. Looks like the northeast corner of NE has several ranges to choose from. Probably hundreds of miles apart but at least a person could get an idea of ranges within a certain area. I had some problems getting the names to pop up correctly when two clubs are close together but I'm not the world's best mouse driver. Keeping this up to date might be challenging. I didn't see any ranges in AK or HI but remember seeing some match reports years ago. Maybe those ranges closed down????

Great job. If this was a link on the IHMSA main page we could get some more visibility to shooters surfing the web and hitting our site.

Don't know who to thank for this but kudos to Hosspower for presenting it here.

I made this on my lunch break today. I only had about 45 minutes to whip it up. Zoom in closer and you will be able to see the bubbles easier. I just followed the master schedule listed here on the forum for ranges.
