Excellent day for a IHMSA match. No rain, but a little humid at times. Scott did turn a Big Bore Turkey with his .243.…bummer…and Jerry did manage to turn a .22 pig without knocking it off the stand. Very frustrating at times. Jay Giberson make four full sized swingers to be used for our new “Bordello” match. Had a lot of interest in this and had a number of people trying this. This is designed for “carry” type handguns, with iron sights. We are using swingers at 25, 50, 75 and 100 yards. Just count hits. Sounds like we’ll have more shooters doing this at the next match. Our thanks to Jay for making up the targets and getting the word out.

Thanks for all the help setting up and tearing down….it makes a large job go very quickly. Hope everyone had a good time….next IHMSA match will be on the 2nd Sunday in July. Hope you’ll be able to attend.

Thanks Steve....if it wasn't for Jay and all his promoting of the sport, I'm afraid that we might have closed up years ago. He is now the spark that keeps bringing in new shooters and new ideas. I would be lost without him.
