I was able to attend my 1st match at Saline Creek Silhouette in Goldonna, LA. yesterday. My brother, Charlie Braud, built this range on some property he owns in North Louisiana. He is running a 2 day match, hoping that this will encourage participation. I was only able to attend Saturday, and fired a couple of decent scores (not counting my "Taco Bell" entry in UASFS !!) The range is beautiful - set in the pine woods, with a very nice covered firing line with shooting platforms. Charlie built this range single-handedly, and I want to thank him for a job well done. Charlie is the reason that we are still shooting IHMSA in Louisiana !

Philip, sorry about the Taco Bell. Charlie, many thanks for all you do to keep things going in LA! Kudos.

I went to the June match up there and we had a great turnout. Well worth the 2.5? hr trip from Lafayette. Just need to remember to bring a little bug spray next time cause I had a few red bugs munching on my legs for the ride home

Congrats you Louisiana "coon butts"; this is exciting news. I hope your Firing Line remains full at all time.
Now, someone take a couple of pictures and post. I may not be there soon, my map says Goldonna is 10.5 hrs. and 722 miles from my house.
