I was wondering when and if the Internationals are gonna be back at
Ft. Stockton. Is there something intrinsically wrong about this place?
I know some have said its too far, etc., but what about California?
Isnt that where they are having them this year? In such a firearms
restrictive state? Im just wondering about the wisdom of THAT
decision.

Re: FORT STOCKTON
I believe that now being a smaller group of shooters we have more ranges that can accommodate the Internationals.Moving the match around the country will give more opportunity to shooters to go places they might not have traveled to otherwise.
I personally have been to Fort Stockton many, many times and enjoying our new Ranges.Remember that it's also nice for those that host the matches to be able to shoot at another range and not have to worry match details.
Texas has been great for IHMSA,look forward to going back someday.Till then enjoying the hospitality of others holding the Internationals.
Hope to see you in California, promises to be a great match!

Well, as I will be unemployed as of March 27th, this year, my IHMSA
shooting is gonna be a little lean from now on. I will not be attending
the Internationals this year, even if it was held in Texas. I hope everyone
that does get to go, has an outstanding time there.

Sorry to hear your loosing your job, that sucks. But on a brighter note all markets seem to be doing well, should be better job hunting than it was a few years ago.It always seems the the next one was better than the last one.
Good luck, hope to see you at the range.

Re: FORT STOCKTON
This is the first time in 17 years that I will be able to attend an International without a 3 day drive down and 3 days back. Moving it around just makes so much sense! Thanks to the LASC people for taking on this huge event! I know it will be done very professionally!
