I have not received my renewal notice either. I'm sure it won't be long.

I'm confused. If you know it's time to renew, why don't you just renew? Why wait for a worthless postcard reminding you to download the application to renew? Why wait for the now volunteer front office to spend money on card stock and postage to remind you to do something you already know you need to do? You guys make me laugh.

Sorry, didn't mean to create confusion. I'm just going by past procedures but apparently previous procedures do not apply anymore. I want to do my part to save IHMSA so I will just renew and save the 15 cents or so to fund the next World Championships.

I do have to agree with Tonedaddy. If the West Coast Championships can be profitable, which I believe it is, then profitability can be had. I know in the past that hotels were comped for directors/officers, for the annual meeting, but I don't believe that is the case anymore. That cost alone was around $10,000. The World Championship is a key to this organization's success, for it is a target a lot of us "shoot for" (no pun intended). But it does have to be financially feasible--and raising prices for it isn't always the long-term answer.

Just and FYI. I renewed my membership online today (15 days early) so I kept 15 cents or more in the IHMSA coffers. Just a suggestion to save more money, why not send emails, when possible, to members as renewal notices and save postage that way. To those that don't have emails, then mail notices. This would mean email addresses would be needed when signing up members but that might also be beneficial if HQ ever needed to contact members. Anyway, I'm good for another year.

I am not sending in 60.00 dollars if this thing is fixing
to go under! And, what genius decided to have the Internationals
in a state with restrictive gun laws such as Kalifornia?

Jesus!

I dont believe that the World championships are now, or have ever been
the key to this outfits success! The local clubs, scattered across this once
great country are the KEY to the success of IHMSA!
