Posting complete match results in Newsletter

Post by Rodent »

Hey Joe,

Now that we have an "E" version of the Newsletter, can we get the complete match results posted? Currently, just the winners are posted. I believe that it would be great for all to be able to see their names posted. A moral booster of sorts.
Like I already post in the Matches Section.

I have found a lot of people already do this, and I certainly agree with it. I would encourage match directors to acknowledge anybody and everybody. And it doesn't have to be filled out on the IHMSA match report form. Many people type up their report on Microsoft Word, which actually I prefer. Match recaps and all other stuff of that nature still needs to go to Cindy at HQ, but match reports and anything desired to go into the IHMSA News can just come straight to me--helps cut out a step for Cindy.

I was wondering about doing this....sending the report in and then paying the match fees with a credit card...eliminate using the match forms....just send in the match thru email. USPSA has it set up to take the credit cards for match fees....is that something that could be done?

That is a good question for Cindy at HQ... But if it is just the match report, send it to me. Anything that deals with $$$ is a Cindy issue.

That is exactly how I have started doing it. I send match reports to Joe and Recaps to Cindy and she has my credit card info. I just want to see the whole report posted. Not just the winners. That is why I have been posting this myself in the Matches section of the forum.
