I was informed this week that Chris Holland "RockinHRacin" passed away last month. Chris had been in declining Health and I do not think he has posted or shot in a year or so.
I only meet Chris face to face one time, My very 1st. IHMSA match but I had shared e-mails with him both before and after, and because of his pre match support
I took that 1st.step my 1st. match. Chris basically walked me though my 1st. round. then turned me over to Richard P. because of those 2 gentleman I made my 2nd. match. Chris also pointed me to this web site
peace be with you my friend

Chris served 23 years and retired from the USAF settling in the area of Warner Robins, Ga. The Warner Robins AFB may still be a maintenance depot. He was a good competitor when he managed to make the drive to visit us at Little River or at Cherokee GC. We'll miss him on the firing line. Our sympathy goes to his widow, Robin.
It is times like this that remind us that ''Dear Lord, when I go, don't let my wife sell my things for what I told her I paid for them.'' Richard

I lived in Bainbridge, GA from Sept. 2009 until June 2011. I heard about Chris from Robert Walker, and I reached out to him via e-mail. He lived about 140 miles from me, but he was the closest IHMSA shooter. We chatted several times via e-mail, but I never actually had the opportunity to meet him. The closest I came to meeting him - he sent me an e-mail saying that he had passed through Bainbridge the previous day. His original intent was to try and get in touch with me, but he ended up short on time. He seemed to be a really nice fellow, and I am saddened that our paths never actually crossed. My sincere condolences to his family - R.I.P. Chris ! :(
