4 years ago I traveled to the OKC state shoot (from CO) for the first time, largely because I kept seeing all these great scores coming out of that club, and also I wanted to see what this "flop thing" was all about. Seemingly everybody there shot 6mm's, mostly BR's and some 6 TCU's, which was new to me for Big Bore.

I bought a 6TCU last year for my unlimited gun. I shot my first open sight 40s with it. I have not rang a ram with it thus far (not counting accidentally shooting the sighter at the Idaho state shoot--oops!). Most of my equipment is 7mm, but so far I'm sold on 6mm with the small sample size of of experience I have with it so far. Hope you have continued luck with your new toy.

I shoot a 30BR Savage using 100gr bullets and agreed to buy a 25BR XP on Saturday, I believe in fast & flat, it doesn't have to be heavy or high recoil to be fun.

Be careful with that "fast and flat" - I saw what a .223 was doing to the 1/2 scale targets at Lincolnton a few years back !
