I'm going to say a couple things. It may ruffle some feathers. But I want them to be food for thought.

1, This organization eats volunteers. Ask those that built the Eastern Range in Oak Ridge Tn. We lost many fine members over that. The workload being put on Doug, April and Rich will become difficult at best.

2, A paid office is essential. I know, no money! But find a way

3, All of US must find a way to attend the World Championship. Then attend the annual meeting.

To answer in advance some questions that may arise from the 2020 WC Financial report......

From experience of the past several years, Jim Fields can closely predict expenses. IHMSA fronts money to Jim, he pays expenses from it. IHMSA recoups the money from entry fees.

IHMSA does not pay OKCGC for this event, nor does OKCGC charge IHMSA to tie up their range for 10 days. Our ability to make or lose money is based primarily on attendance. If you don't attend, the expenses remain largely the same and we lose money.

Rich,

Many thanks for posting the financial results of the International Championship (sorry, old guy here - it will always be IC for me!). Really appreciate the transparency.

Yours,

Steve W.

I just want to add. The 2020 WC's only had about 400 entries because of Covid. A normal year at OKC usually has around 700-750 entries. If you base it, even though 2020 had a slight loss, A normal year actually has a Profit.

In correlating additional reports (6 month and 2020 annual), I realized I had not transcribed a WC deposit to this report. The WC report above has now been corrected, and shows a $1293 event profit.

This report has been prepared by the amateur novice assistant to the 3rd deputy director to the clerk for the temporary, humiliated, acting treasurer.

Yes. It's the cabinet under the bathroom sink, where you keep the hemorrhoid and toe fungus creams. It's not pretty, but it's all I got. =))

The 2020 financial statement is basically complete, just need to double check the addition/subtraction. In the meantime, the following information is correct and will be included in that report.

Cindy Smith repaid $9800 to IHMSA during 2020, bringing her total amount paid to $22,639.22.
