thanks guys. Now I know the Paypal interface is working correctly and HQ is getting the notifications.

The transaction number will come from PP. keep this as it is your record that you paid. There was a problem when they first setup PP as it was not notifying HQ but seems it is working fine now.

One weird thing I have noticed is my previous reply was marked 1250 am on Jan 2 but I am typing this on Jan 1 at 1155 pm. Must be a clock thing.

sounds like they might have been messing with the clock on the webserver. the forums use the servers clock and your time zone setting to generate the time for your posts.

Renewed yesterday with PP. No problems.
In all the time I've used PP I've never received an acknowledgement from HQ but always from PP. I've always received my card.

I just renewed via PayPal, and added the $5 donation for CC fees (why not ?) This is my 40th anniversary as a IHMSA member - joined May 1980. (Ain't it funny how time slips away !!)
