What facilities in LA facilitate IHMSA shooting matches?

Ascension Silhouette in Gonzales hosts matches each month from January through October and offers Smallbore, Fifth Scale, and Field Pistol. Our schedule is in the IHMSA News.
Our dates vary between the first and second weekend and also vary between Saturday and Sunday in an attempt to avoid conflicts with holidays.

Dugdemona Silhouette outside of Jonesboro near Chaney Lake offers Big Bore and Smallbore but conducts only two matches a year, one in April and one in October.

Thanks, anything out west or central that you are aware of? I'll be at Ft. Polk and live in Rosepine (near DeRidder).

Nope. The two I listed are the only two currently operating in the state.

Im interested in shooting silhouette. I live just outside of Gonzales and shoot IPSC matches there once a month. Are the small bore matches pistol only, or are they both pistol and rifle?

Hello Bayou Deputy - my brother and I conduct the IHMSA smallbore and field pistol matches at the Ascension Parish Sheriffs range. We are handgun only, but you could shoot rifle if you so choose. There are sanctioned NRA smallbore rifle silhouette matches held there on the 4th Saturday of the month, sponsored by the East Ascension Sportsmans League. We had a match this past Sunday, and have 2 matches remaining this year - on Sept.9 and our state championship on Oct.6 & 7. Had a great time meeting you all

Came away with some excellent knowledge to apply and tips on what to practice to get better.

Sue is interested in something in a 22 to shoot with.

Friend of mine and his wife would be interested in shooting her Ruger Mk II Competition Target pistol, but Sundays are a very tough day to get the time to drive in from Marksville.

It was great to have you at the match. As far as our match dates, it's not always Sunday. Our May and June matchs will be on a Saturday.
