Long-time Louisiana IHMSA shooter Al Chauvin of Houma, LA passed away in his sleep Wednesday night. Mr.Al was a WW II veteran, and a Purple Heart receipient on D-Day. He carried the effects of his wounds for the rest of his life, but this did not hinder his shooting. I have missed his presence over the past several years - he was a good person to be around.
