Saturday Night Check In 5/19

David.You know I just happened to think,We only have three regulator for the club that shoot.The rest are shooter from other clubs.Only the three of us are setting up,resetting and tearing down.Wow.

I'm not even a club member. I just started shooting again last year and have always helped with the match as much as I could. That being said, this year I have other obligations and go shoot my one gun and leave. I don't like it and feel guilty, not helping but it's out of my control. The club here probably has a few hundred members(I'm guessing) and I think the only one that shoots silhouette is the match director.

there's only 3 of us out of 1300 club members that shoot ihmsa. we have to set up,tear down at every match. talk about work. allen

Sounds like three is the magic number. Maybe we should declare a central territory, and make the 51st state of this good ole US of A. We could all move there shoot silhouette and have jobs related to the shooting sports. Oh, with no outrageous gun laws

i was going to ok. for the internationals, but could not find anyone wanting to host the region 2 bb and 1/2 scale championships this year, so i'm having it again at my range. don't have enough vacation days to attend them both, so i decided to have them instead of going to ok. was really looking forward to it though, but maybe next year. allen

i appreciate the words. i put a lot of work into ihmsa. this will be the 3rd time for my range to host the regionals since 2006. i can tell you it is a lot of headaches to put on a match of this size, but would do it again. allen
