Sight Click Value

Post by bkraft »

I recently picked up a Contender barrel in .22 Match, it has the Ultimate Silhouette rear sight. Does anyone know the click value, would it ne 1/4" at a 100yds? Any information would be helpful.
Thank you

it would depend on the length of the barrel. The ultimate silhouette sight has 31 clicks per revolution.

on my 10" contender, it will do 10 clicks on a 25 meter chicken, taking it from bottom of leg to top of back. this comes out about .3" per click at 25 meters. at 100 Meters, this comes out somewhere between 2-2.5" per click.

it would be finer than that on a 14" barrel.

Thank you, that's what I needed to know. It is a ten inch barrel, so now I have a starting point.
Thanks again.
