IHMSA NEWS, OR LACK THEREOF!

When I renewed my membership in IHMSA in February, I included 20.00 dollars xtra for
the newspaper. Today is July 22, and I have not seen an issue, copy, whatever! I have called
Cindy, TWICE, once on her cell phone, and NOTHING! If they are not gonna send me my paper, then
send me my money back.

If I remeber correctly IHMSA dues used to be $35.00. Due were raised to $50.00 to cover the cost of mailing and printing the newsletter. Are the dues going to be reduced back to $35.00 since the newsletter is now posted in electonic format on this website?

Who is running headquarters now? I thought Cindy resigned eff 7/17?

I know she tendered a resignation but then heard that she had reconsidered and would continue to run the office.......last I heard anyway.

Cindy is still running Headquarters.

as for for dues, it was raised to cover rising costs of operating. not just specifically for the paper. now that I am doing everything concerning the IHMSA news, these costs are cut down. what the Membership dues in the future will be is being considered. But I have no idea.

the Mailing issues is partly my Fault and my ongoing fight with USPS. But remember, I am paying for this out of My own Pocket and being reimbursed later. If it comes down to me Paying my bills or taking care of IHMSA News Mailings, you can guess which one will lose.

As for the person who started the thread, I am still waiting for a response from him to straighten his issue out.

actually, I do not have this information. The listing I have does not include your information and is quite old. I sent you a Private message on here so I can track it down and get you added to the Mailing List.

NOTE TO ALL: The Membership listing I have is Not complete and that is what I am working on now! I am working on a New List that can be used Both by me and headquarters! Also, I am trying to get our systems updated to work in the 21st Century. THIS IS GOING TO TAKE TIME TO GET DONE AND I AM NOT QUITTING MY FULL TIME JOB TO GET THIS DONE FASTER!

The July Issue will have no match results in it except the west coast champs. it will have the match schedule though.

this is I had to convert everything to a new desktop publishing program and due to the world champs, I am in a time crunch. 80% of my time on the news is to get the Match results entered. the new program fixes a bunch of issues I had.

I will print all the match results in the August issue.

I also need to do this so I can get the Membership database, email database and mailing lists up to date!
