Posted a picture of this gun last year. Found the message from Vern last week. Blast From the past... Traded for this gun in 2001. Message is posted below with a picture of the gun and a formed case beside a 30-30 case. Ammo case I got with the gun is marked J. Dunne. Vern passed in 2018.

Wichita Silhouette .308 For Sale
Ended up with this in a trade the 90s. I have never fired it. Blue Book says last year it was made was 1994 and MSR at that time was $1800. No sights just rings and bases. Some kind of metal flake paint on the stock. I'd like to get $700 shipped FFL to FFL.

You IHMSA old heads remember Vern Juenke at the Accuracy Den in Reno Nevada. FWIW he passed last September. He built custom TCs and chambered them for such things as 270 and 300 VJR (Vern Juenke Rimmed) I ended up with a 300 VJR in the 90s.
