Lynn, you are correct. I ended up getting a "short" 10" 30-30 for production class. I am currently working up loads for it.
The load for my 14" barrel didn't work too well, need a faster powder. So...starting with 4227 and playing with it. RCBS 30-165.
But I agree with you , I like rimmed.

Holy Moly Steve, that is a huge task you are tackling! I don't think I have anything to contribute, but hat is off to you for your time and effort!

7 supermag questions
Hello everyone, I am considering getting a 7mm supermag barrel, 10" for production category. Dies are scarce or very pricey when found. I read that you can use 7 TCU dies for this round. Does anyone here have experience with this? Is it difficult to size once fire formed?

Paypal renewal
Just letting folks know that paypal renewal is an option. Many of us don't care for paypal, but it is a convenient and fast way to renew.
Thank you for that option.
I encourage people to choose the $5 donation to go with your membership, as Paypal fees are not free.
Thanks, Dan

Re: Electronic Hearing Protection
I bought the best pair of electronic muffs I could afford many years ago, when not many companies were making them. My Peltors were very expensive, if I recall, around 200 bucks. They still work fine. But I am sure that with all of the advances, cheap ones will work as well.
