hello, i just reacquired an XP-100 that i owned about 20 years ago. when i had it i sent it to ihmsa and had it rechambered in what i
believe was 7-R. i had 10 rounds left in stockpile of ammo. when i tried to chamber one of these, i found it did not fit. info on box
was case length:2.040 O.A.L.:2 ...

thanks for all the replies, i do have 10 rounds of match ammo from the time period mentioned. 154 gr sp bullet with 30 grs of 4895 in a reformed 30\30 case, O.A.L 2.850 inches. this is what if used for the whole field and never left a ram standing(unless i missed). the box is marked 7R. guess i'll ...

7-R or 7-R INT?
I am about to reacquire my XP from the mid 80's, which i had rechambered to 7R.
I have been looking around and I see different designations such as 7 international, 7 ihmsa and so forth. are these the same
chambering or what. i am coming back, hopefully in the fall of 2013. thanks
