ISO Front sight Rem XP-100 or scope mounting

Guys-Gals,

Looking for a front sight that will fit an older barrel marked as 7 x 51 made back in the days by Top Hat Gunsmithing -- I reached out to my local buddies and they helped me to deduce that it most likely was made by them. I did a measurement and the hole spacing center to center is 9/16 inch. I could use either a globe setup or a basic ramp with blade that will fit the hole spacing. I could also use if someone could help me find a scope mounting base like the 2 piece plates to use a weaver scope base.

Take a look at your old parts and pieces and let me know if you have the necessary parts to help me get this good ole XP back in to slamming down some steel again.

I have an original XP front sight base with a blade post and a Lyman globe sight
If you can use them, I’ll mail to you free of charge

Are you also looking for a rear sight? I have a Micro rear sight machined into a scope base that came with an XP I bought 30+ years ago.

Greg,

I do have the rear sight already and it is a Lyman and the barrel maker manufactured a rear blade for it that is a good size -- much larger overall than the basic ISGW's and the notch is a bit on the small side for my eyes.
