We were determined not to let the weather stand in the way of our match this month. We shot through a steady, light rain for most of the day and light conditions could best be classified as gloomy. In spite of that, we had a decent turnout and, on average, scores were impressive. We had 6 people shoot for record score and there were six 40X40 scores , spread across 9 entries. All of the 40s were fired with the aid of optics. With one notable exception, our club has become the “Oldtimer’s Club”.
Only one match remains on the Louisiana IHMSA schedule for 2018 and that is our State Championship Match, scheduled for the first weekend in October.
