Actually located two sets from shooters who have retired their Rugers.

Isn't there one FA shooter who has an old Ruger laying around with the Bomar/Globe sights that he/she will never shoot again????

Took me 20 years to find a set. Finally had to buy a gun that had them installed and swap sights. Good luck.

I lucked into a set at one of our local matches at CTSA in New Braunfels, Texas. Got both front & rear for $125.00. It sure makes a big difference. I'm hoping Ken Light will come up with a set of his design. He makes a pretty good clone of Bomars for his sight sets for TC's and BF pistols.

Lockhart, I checked with Ken Light and also Kensight about Bomar style sights for my Ruger but no luck. No company is currently making that style sight for Rugers. Almost ordered a Bowen rear with .090 notch but just recently lucked into a shooter who has retired his Ruger and was willing to sell me his Bomar/Globe setup. Not the deal you got but I'm very happy to pay anything to find a set now. Hope to get them before our next match and at least get a sight setting for chickens. Will just wing it from there. If I can't zero them for chickens will just use my laser bore sighter to get close for chickens and go from there. Low expectations can sometimes yield high rewards so I'm always trying new loads or shoot with no sight settings and just see what happens. All fun to me anyway.
