Smith & Wesson model 41, frame serial number 909XX, with Herrett grips, and cocked indicator, the 7” barrel has a blued aluminum muzzle brake, inside weight (steel), under frame weight (steel upper / aluminum lower) and S&W sight. This gun was purchased in September of 1969. The “&” in Smith & Wesson is referred to as ‘the lazy &’ (something collectors obsess about but does not alter the performance of the gun). There are four (4) 10 round magazines, an assortment of parts for repair (never had to use them), two screw drivers, the original instruction with a list of parts, and it all comes with the aluminum case shown in the picture. I am not selling ‘bits and pieces’ so do not ask to buy parts of this set. Having searched the web I feel that $1100 is a reasonable price, if you disagree make a reasonable counter offer.
In accordance with ATF&E rules: - If you live in Florida I need your mailing address (no post office boxes) and a telephone, since these is the UPS requirements (guns cannot be shipped via the United States Post Office). If you live outside of Florida I need the address (no post office boxes) and a telephone of a Federal Firearms License holder (someone with a valid FFL) and I need a copy of their FFL, since these are the requirements of UPS. I am in Pensacola, so figure out UPS Next Day Air Service costs from you.

VERY NICE!!! Please be advised that UPS does NOT require a FFL copy of the receiving dealer. All you need is enough information from the receiving dealer to verify they have a current license using the ATF FFLEZCheck website. That info can be printed and shown to the UPS agent sending the gun. The only reason I am pointing this out is ATF has been advising dealers to not send copies of their licenses to non-licensed individuals. The FFLEZCheck website works great and the printout from that site has been accepted by UPS and FedEx. All you need from the receiving dealer is the first three digits and last five digits of their license number to verify their license on the website.

As luck would have it one of the fellows that shoots NRA Rifle Metallic Silhouettes with me, in Pascagoula, works for UPS as a shift manager. Because hand guns need to be shipped Overnight (and that is BIG $$$) his suggestion was to separate the barrel with weights from the frame, send the frame (it has the serial number) via UPS Overnight as small as possible and then send the barrel, weights, spare parts, magazine, and the case as UPS Ground.
