Hoping to get back into big bore sillywet later this summer. I picked up an old 7tcu 10" barrel for my contender with no sights. What sights are the rage now? It looks like Ken Light still is making his ribs, but if I read correctly, he is using williams rears. EABCO has a rib set with bomars, but I am not sure of the bomar quality anymore.

Any recommendations?

Bomar sights are not made anymore - they are out of business. Call Ken Light - he makes a sight rib with a rear sight that utilizes a Champion rear blade in a base of his own design. I just bought a set, and the sight is a clone of the Bomar, and seems to be of equal quality. In my opinion, this is the way to fly !!

Thanks for the reply. Got it figured out a couple of days ago and dropped a check to ken in the mail last night. It was interesting talking to him. I did not know that there are two profiles of barrels out there.
