I'd shoot a Knoxville match or three. Good excuse to visit relatives in the general area.

I checked the Match Schedule link on the main IHMSA page but didn't see any TN ranges listed. Maybe I just missed that info.

Michael just confirmed that Knoxville shoots Field Pistol & Small Bore on the 3rd Saturday -- waiting to confirm start times. I've been there several times; it's a nice rope pull reset range and run well. If my memory serves me (it often fails now) this range is where Tennessee volunteers gathered to march off to the Revolutionary War so many of my shooting partners have already been there.
Show up and shoot.

Looking good so far. Match is scheduled for 1700hrs+ on the 16th. Have a place to stay overnight. Might even get some ammo loaded beforehand! Only drama is my usual spotter can't be conned into service.
Wonder if night sights would help? Used to shoot in the dark at Ft. Benning. Very educational, that.
