I recently had an interresting conversation with someone in the manufacuring industry. Good news is he can see a NEW rear sight of Bomar Quality. Bad news he says it can't be done at the old Bomar prices. He says it would cost about $250 for the rear sight only. His question to me was do I think shooters would pay that much for a good quality rear sight. Let's face it there isn't one out there right now. How many of you out there would pay that for a quality rear sight for your XP, TC or FA etc? I know I would. Please post you responses.

?A new Bomar quality rear site
Re: ?A new Bomar quality rear site
I told him I didn't think it would fly. However there are some guns that sights are not available for. Try to find a Bomar for an anscheutz. Guess the game is just going to scopes and in my opinion that aint as much fun.

Have you tried the Champion Bo-mar "clone" that Ken Light offers. I have one on my Unlimited TC, and it is fully equal in appearance and function as the old Bo-mar.

Re: ?A new Bomar quality rear site
I have a couple of the new Champion sights and several of the Bo-mars. The finish and machining on the Champion are superior to the Bomar. The Champion looks like it has been done with new CNC equipment. The clicks are tighter, although my bomars are older. The repeatable of theChampions seems to be equal to or better than the Bomar. The sight picture is a little better , I believe because of the sharpness of the machining.

Williams is all he show on his website but he did offer the Champion sight also. You have to ask for them. Or he may be out of the Champion sights by now.
