New Guns Announced by Major Gun Manufactures!

Post by Bad Eyes »

;)) Hello:

Did you hear the following news announcements?

• Ruger says they will make a new single action stainless steel revolver in 357 maxi.
• Freedom Arms announced that they are adding the 357 maxi and 300 Whisper to their Model 83 line of revolvers. They are also adding the
following calibers to their single shot pistol 10 inch barrels; 22LR. 22 Hornet, 270Ren, 30/20, 6.5 Grendel, 7x223 and 300 Whisper.
• Savage Arms announced a new single and 5 shot repeater pistol based on their short action with the following calibers; 6.5 Grendel, 300 Whisper,
7BR and 6.5 Creedmoor.
• Apparently, Howa will produce a bolt action pistol based on their mini action in 6.5 Grendel and 300 Whisper.
• Almost forgot, Anschutz is set for another run of their 14 inch Exemplar 22LR Target Pistol.

In case you have not already realized that is a bad April Fool’s Joke, I am sorry, but it is.

Bad Eyes/Bad Joke😂

As my old granny used to say, "April fools done past, and you're the biggest fool at last!", or something like that! :))

I have it from a friend that a mutual friend is working with a manufacturer to possibly make one of those jokes a reality.

Okay, maybe the joke is on me, but which one of those jokes could become a reality, and how soon?

Thanks,

I am reticent to say because I’m not sure how far it has gone. I’d hate for more than me to have a broken heart.

Dan, if your thinking of the Max, I doubt it. All the Max specific tooling and casting has gone by the wayside......one, I think the reinvestment into those items would be too much and two, if they did start reproducing it it opens Ruger up to a whole bunch of repair work, and/or replacement on the original model.....which they don't want.......just my two cents.......
