I know we aren't supposed to talk about weather but our first match at Tusco this year was a bear.
Saturday we had up to 40mph winds and commensurate wind chil cause the temps were in the forties.
Sunday it sleeted then snowed and temps started out at 25 in the morning.
Not a good weekend to shoot silhouette. We still had a pretty decent turnout considering the weather.

Was thinking the very same whilst scrolling down the photo. Nice! Unless you were shooting Saturday.260 Striker wrote:But look at the great target definition!!!!!!!

Re: Tusco April match
Jim,
I'm beginning to re-think the "weather ban"; I believe that the weather can play a major part in a match. When the wind is whistling across the range at 10 - 15 mph with gusts of up to 25 mph, that can play a major role in a Small Bore match......and even a Big Bore match. Or, if the weather is dark and cloudy or there is relentless rain, etc.
So, in the future, I plan to acknowledge the weathers effect on the match, in my opinion.

Re: Tusco April match
Weather may have an effect on attendance as well. (If anything, I'd rather shoot in 30ish degree weather, with precipitation, than 90+ degrees and sunny. )
