I just finished the Big Bore Records Program report for the next issue of the IHMSA news.

Paul Habig (NV) showed everyone how it can be done with cast bullets.


Paul Habig (NV) is on a quest. It is a cast bullet quest. Paul shot
an amazing cast bullet 4-gun score. Paul shot a P-40, U-40, R-40and a S-28 for a 3-gun 108 and a 4-gun 148 all shot with cast bullets.
Paul Habig (NV) upped his game and shot an all Revolver cast
bullet match. Paul used a 41 mag for a R-38, a 357 mag for a
U-39 (sight came loose), a 44 mag for a P-40 and nally a 7 ½”
357 mag for a S-27. These scores gave Paul a 3-gun 106 and a4-gun 144. All cast bullet, all Revolvers. Paul shot 3000 rounds of practice in 6 weeks to get ready for this amazing feat. WOW!

All I can say is WOW!!!!

Paul is a consummate silo shooter, and routinely shoots annual scores at the top of the leader chart. Good for him, he deserves the recognition.

I can't even imagine casting all the bullets Paul shoots to obtain those fantastic scores.
Lots of hard work just making bullets then shooting those great scores.
