G'day from Downunder :-h

G'day All , I am looking for some load data for 90 grain and 100 grain Hi - Tek coated cast boolits all the info that I have is for jacketed bullets but my local clubs only allow cast boolits due to safety reg's my preferred powder is WW 231 but I will give anything a try that is available down here thanking you in advance for any help you may be able to give .
My gun is an encore pro - hunter with a ten inch MGM barrel .

Hi Pauly, I had a 270 Ren years ago but never shot cast. I would try a starting load for same weight jacketed bullets and see how your cast shoot. Your Encore is sure not going to get hurt by any load you can put it it. Cast bullets will have higher velocity versus jacketed using same weight bullet and same load since the cast have less resistance in barrel. Just start low and work up till you find the accuracy you want or leading occurs. Sounds like a fun combination.
