SR 4759.......

Post by JSH »

Anyone came up with a decent replacement for this other than 5744?
The darn stuff has so many useful applications. I am not going to run out and stock up. If it is discontinued, it is time to move on and find somthing else. If that is possible.
Have looked at 1680 but it is hard to come by.

I've been using RL7 and have good results. IMR 4227. Looks like it will do well also , I've found some and might try that as well.

The latest Natchez shooting supply catalog is showing they have
a supply of SR-4759 in stock. You might try them. Whatever is in
the pipeline now, will be the end of it. I've managed to pick up about
10 lbs of it in the last 8 months. Just gotta check around.

They kinda under the radar, because they were the only folks I could
find that had ANY .357 Maximum brass, and they had no limits on the
amount you could buy, either.

Apparently "undiscontinued". Saw several fresh off the truck at a pawn shop last week. I have at least four older cans, still, so left it for somebody really in need.
