.30 Reece powders

Post by Richard Pickering »

I realize the 30 Reece is not widely used. However I'm exploring the potential of SR4759 (which also is not in common use).
The Reece has about the same volume as 32-20 (30-20). My bullet is the RCBS 30-165 which has a long nose section so shouldnt
take up powder space. I;m open to suggestions. I've used 13gr 4198 but I'm out of it. 4227 could be an option. Thank you.

Rich, I had been using N110 with the 150 gr. Sierra for my standing gun.
