6.5 tcu load
6.5 tcu load
i have been working up loads for a 6.5 tcu super 14 with 129gr hornady sst,groups well at 50 yards,move to 100 not so good,going to try some nosler 120 gr ballistic tips today,will this bullet be enough for the rams in uas?

the load is 27gr w-748 129gr sst rem7 1/2 vel. 2000fps seated .140 off lands,seems like barrel has a really long throat,bullet is seated to dia. of bullet for good tension

Try using AA2015BR powder, I have had greatt success with it under the 120 Nosler & Remington 7 1/2 primers.

According to my copy of IHMSA's "Reloading Guide for Handgun Accuracy", the following was used to shoot a perfect score in Unlimited using the Hornady 129 SPFB:
powder start most frequent max primer
4895 24.0 26.0 27.0 CCI-400
AS ALWAYS, WORK UP TO THE LISTED CHARGES

I've had good luck with 120nbt's, rem 7 1/2 primers and 8208 and n540 powders in my T/C.
