The 7TCU is a very versatile round and will shoot well with a variety of loads. Bullets of 140-150 grains are the usual choice and AA2015-H4895-SR4759 are popular as well as several others. My personal choice is 150 grain bullet with 2015 powder.

I have had good success with 100gr bullets for c,p,t, and 120gr for the ram. I use 24gr H322 in an xp100 for UAS and in the same xp, for S-U 19gr 4759. The xp is braked so I can use the rifle scope and not get rapped in the teeth. The h322 load gives a bit over 2000fps; the 4759 load generates about 1950fps. In the 10'' TC barrel I have used the 120gr for all targets with 25gr RL-7 for about 1700fps.
There are many good loads for the 7-tcu. Many will recommend 24gr H/IMR 4895. Accurate Powders markets their 2495 which is a clone of 4895. Accurate 2015 can be used as well with appropriate charges. rp

my load for my moa 7tcu was 23 grains h-322 with a 150 grain spire point. i have since sold the moa, but shot several 40's with it. it is close to a max load though. as the other's have said the tcu will shoot just about any powder you prefer, just have to try them. allen

I shoot a 150 gn SPBT bullet using BLC(2) for about 1750 fps. No problem with the rams. I have not tried H335, but it too looks like a good powder fro the 150 gn SPBT. I want to experiment with the RCBS 145 SIL cast bullet.

I have several pages of load recommendations. The reference book "Reloading Guide for Handgun Accuracy" was published by IHMSA back in '82 using the load date from perfect scores.

28.0 gr H335 with a 139gr flat base hornady spire point. The accuracy of this load may be more due to the bullet (it has shot great in most guns I've tried) thant he powder combo...

2.700" OAL has worked for my factory TC barrels - all of which had very long throats.
