Guns of the game: Small Bore

The bullets may be smaller but not the challenge.

I LOVE that Hipshot designed stock. Did he decide to make more than two of them?

Yes and no. He made this one for me, but still is not in the market to sell them. I just lucked out to be able to get one.

I had a chance to shoot with the new stock tonight. I shot a round of practice to check sight settings because the grip is so much different. Knocked down 33 and hit 2 rams that didn't fall (one solid one just grazed it). Adjusted my sights accordingly and shot a round for score. I had a 39 out of 40 with a called miss on turkey #3. I pulled the trigger before I was completely settled in. I am more than happy with the stock, it feels so much better.

I'm a new shooter out of the OKC Gun Club and competing exclusively in SB this year. My G2 has a factory match barrel, a Martens front, a Williams/Merit rear and some trigger work from Ed's Contenders.

TC .22 lr Match, Martens taco front w/ clear aperture, Williams FP rear, TC wood. Like that old wood. This thing shoots better than I ever will. Any recommendations for a rear aperture? Merit?
