Gehmann 590/590L weight

The bullets may be smaller but not the challenge.

Gehmann 590/590L weight

Post by jmoore »

Anybody have an actual barebones weight for one of these rear sights? The old Anschutz steel sights are OK for Unlimited, maybe a bit hefty for Production!

Thanks,

My Gehman Compact, which I assume is the 590, weighs 4.1 oz. on my postal scale

My 590L, with Gehmann aperture and without sun shade tube, weighs 4.3 ounces.

Thank you both!

Hoping to get something put together before too much longer for .22 Production and Standing...that is actually fun to shoot! Playing with the Anschutzi has got me spoilt, not that I've actually been doing the trigger pulling on them myself much lately.

I should have mentioned that mine was weighed with non adjustable factory eyepiece and the sunshade tube

Fair enough! LG is getting to like the adjustable apertures, and I've used them since the 1980s, so it's probable I will attempt the added feature.

Jonathan, it is a treat to see Lisa doing so well. Her score in 1/5 scale shows great progress. (Either a 34 or 36) Well done on the coaching. rp
