The bullets may be smaller but not the challenge.

smallbore revolver 80x80?

Post by nutcase »

I need to pick everybody's brains here.

I am trying to find out if anybody has Ever shot a smallbore revolver 80x80!

in 2002, when I had to quit shooting due to employment reasons, Nobody had yet shot one.

from 2002 to 2011, I was not shooting. and I have no records if one was shot during these years.

If anybody has shot one, Please let me know!

I think Richard Mishler shot one in Ohio at the first international they hosted, afterwards he had a heart attack . Check with Jim Harris

Here's a bit of IHMSA trivia for you;

Bill Urbank actually also shot a small bore revolver 80 at that International at Tusco.

Guess who the champion Small bore revolver champion was?

Bill Urbank. Mishler had a heart attack and was in the hospital and not at the shootoffs.

Cool story, not so much for Mishler. I hope he was able to get home soon after.

Thanks Jim.

No, I didn't shoot a smallbore 80-----ever. But, Melvin, didn't Randy Fussell shoot one at Oak Ridge one year with a S/W 617 ? Edit: I didn't shoot a smallbore revolver 80. I did shoot an 80 at Tusco in UAS and had to do it with an alibi in the last bank to get it. rp

Yes he did, I think it was 1998. I spotted for his 80, which proves, despite what RW says, I am an Int. class spotter! :p

after some more research, it looks like less than 10 smallbore revolver 80x80's have ever been shot. But Dale Kroetz is officially the first person to shoot one (and he shot 2 in 1 year!)
