One thing that interests me a lot when I see match reports is to see the scores with the counts for each animal and not just a total score. I often wonder when a person shoots say a 20 in FP did they shoot all the Cs and Ps or the reverse all the Ts and Rs? I find it interesting to see the guns they used and whether they might have scored better on the far targets or the shorter ones. I know this requires the MDs to post match reports with all the animal counts before they can appear in the news. Even the match reports on this forum have a mixture of just short reports or the more expanded versions. I guess I am spoiled since my local club reports have always shown all the animal counts. The animal counts also shows the reverse count when there are ties. I would also encourage MDs to include all entries in their reports and not just class/match winners. Seeing how all the attendees at matches perform is very interesting. When I first started shooting IHMSA it was great to see my name on a match report and eventually I even got to see my name in the newspaper. It doesn't matter much now but was something to look forward to when you are just starting out.

the problem is space in the News, even without the animal counts, I can barely make the match results to fit. I do print the animal counts for the big matches like the WCC, ECC and the World champs.
